2012 1 Oz Armenia Noah's Ark BU

Second year of issue and a semi-key date with lower mintages.

Obverse: The coin's obverse of this depicts the Armenian Coat of Arms. Below the coat of arms is the face value of "500 DRAM" with the date "2012" inscribed immediately below. The weight, purity, and content of "1 OZ ag 999" are located at the lower right. Surrounding the central image is the inscription "REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA” in Armenian at the top and in English at the bottom.

Reverse: The coin's reverse depicts Noah's Ark in the center of the motif. The white dove with an olive branch in its beak is flying toward the ark. The silhouette of Mount Ararat with a rising sun is shown in the background. The inscription is also the name of the coin: “NOAH'S ARK” in Armenian at the top and in English lettering toward the lower left.
