The Royal Australian Mint is known for minting superb quality Gold and Silver coins, with limited mintages. In 2019, they began minting their first ever gold and silver bullion series. The series will feature various dolphins from around the world. The first-release of the Dolphin bullion series by features a Bottlenose Dolphin leaping out of the ocean against a rising sun.
The coins are minted with 1 Oz of .999 FS and are limited to 25,000 each year. They are considered legal tender in Australia and will bear the same $1 (AUD) face value as other silver bullion coins. Even though they are considered to be bullion, the brilliant uncirculated coins are minted with a mirror proof finish on both the obverse and reverse.
