Congo Lion
The second of an annual series produced by Sunshine Mint, each coin of which featured a different depiction of the African Lion, were issued on behalf of the country of Congo. The issue was minted in 2016. The mintage on these was restricted to just 50,000. Coins were issued on behalf of different countries in Africa where the lion makes it's home. Burundi, Congo and Chad were the countries represented during the the series. The coins are minted in .999 FS and have a face value of 5000F.

Design
Obverse: On the obverse face of the coin you'll find the image of a male lion closely guarding a female member of the pride. The two creatures are depicted with menacing looks on their faces, and the male lions mane is massive, taking up much of his facial area. The lone engraving on this face reads African Lion.
Reverse: The reverse face of the coin bears the official crest of the Republic of Congo. Engravings on this face include the coins year of issue, weight, purity, and metal content. The face value of the coin remains set at 5,000 Francs, with the nations French-language spelling Republique du Congo featured above the crest.
