Humphreys and Son

Humphreys and Son is a family owned and operated jewelry store located in Daytona Beach. They have been in business since 1954. Their custom designed jewelry is well-regarded and they have been commissioned to produce several high profile pieces. They also deal in gold and silver bullion.

Each year, during the Daytona Beach Bike Week, they have commissioned and sold 1 Oz rounds commemorating the event. The rounds are minted by Highland Mint and each one is individually numbered. The series started with the 50th Anniversary of Bike Week in 1991 and continues until today. The rounds were minted with 1 Oz of .999 Fine Silver. The central image on the obverse is a motorcycle (varying each year). Inscriptions on the obverse include "DAYTONA BEACH BIKE WEEK" and the year. The reverse contains the name of the jewelry store; text celebrating the anniversary of the event; the purity, weight, and content of the round; and a serial number.
