Government issued silver bullion coins from Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan Snow Leopard

The Kazakhstan Snow Leopard silver coins are bullion coins which have been issued off and on since 2009. They are available in various sizes with a weight between 1 ounce and 10 ounces in silver of .9999 fineness. The 1 Oz coin has a nominal value of 1 Tenge and is a legal tender in Kazakhstan. The coin is produced by the Kazakhstan Mint. The motif of the coin remains constant from year to year and depicts the snow leopard (Irbis), an endangered species with fewer than 10,000 in the world. This series has one of the lowest mintages among world bullion series making coins from this series very hard to locate.
