Monarch Precious Metals

Monarch Precious Metals refinery was founded in 2008 in the Rogue Valley of southern Oregon. The mint and refinery at Monarch was founded in direct response to the increasing demand for gold and silver products. Striking both gold and silver bars and rounds, all of the products that leave the Monarch facility are at least .999 pure. Each bar produced by Monarch is created using a unique, hand-poured technique that gives all of its products a distinctive, rustic appearance. Markings on Monarch bars are stamped and etched into the surface using traditional techniques rather than modern engraving methods.

In addition to acting as an authorized seller of world coins, Monarch Precious Metals produces a wide variety of gold and silver bars for investors, as well as rounds for collectors. Among the most popular products from the refinery are its wide range of hand-poured bars. The hand-poured bars vary in shape and design, but all share a common, rustic appearance. Monarch opts for simplistic designs and bare-bones engravings in place of intricate designs on its standard line of bars. The bars range in size from 1 Oz all the way up to 100 Oz with many sizes in between.

The bars feature a rough, matte finish and a rustic appearance that gives it a unique appeal for collectors in particular. They share common markings that include the Monarch Precious Metals corporate logo, a crown formed by the letters “MPM,” and the purity, metal content, and weight of the bar on its primary face. The opposite face of its bars feature no markings or design sets. Rounds produced by MPM are marked in a similar fashion.

Monarch Precious Metals also produces products which cater to collectors. For example, there is a 2 Oz Silver Monarch Bar that is shaped like an old-fashioned tombstone, with a rectangular bottom and rounded top when viewed vertically. There are also items such as a 3 Oz Monarch Silver Skull Bar and the 38 Gram Monarch Silver Revolver Bar.  One of the more popular unique items is silver blocks in the shape of Lego's.

While MPM primarily produces bars, they also have minted a few rounds. One of the more popular series is the Egyptian artifact series. This is found in fractional sizes of 1/10, 1/4, and 1/2 Oz. The Zodiac series is produced solely in 1 Oz sizes. Both of those series are made with an antiqued finish. All silver products minted by MPM are made with .999 Fine Silver.
