2014 1/2 Oz Canada Special Forces BU

Obverse: The obverse features Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is depicted here in a right-profile design created in 2003 by Susanna Blunt. The image of the Queen is featured on all Canadian coinage and is the fourth-generation effigy of Elizabeth II on Canadian coins during her reign. Around the rim starting at the left are the inscriptions "CANADA" and "ELIZABETH II". The purity, content, and weight of "9999 FINE SILVER 1/2 OZ ARGENT PUR 9999" are found at the bottom.

Reverse: The reverse depicts the badge of the group known as the Devil’s Brigade. The spearhead was their shoulder patch, with “USA” stitched vertically at the top of the spearhead and “CANADA” stitched horizontally down the center. Flanking the spearhead emblem is a US Army star on the left and a Royal Canadian Forces maple leaf on the right. The date is inscribed at the bottom of the spearhead. The denomination of "2 DOLLARS" is inscribed at the top. The bottom bears the inscription "FIRST SPECIAL SERVICE FORCE  PREMIERE FORCE DE SERVICE SPECIAL".
