Despite no mint mark, the round has one of the common reverses used by the American Pacific Mint. This design is found in the World Trade series and some years of the Academy Corporation series. The simplicity of the obverse points to a minting in the early 1980s. It is an uncommon round.
Obverse: The obverse depicts a right-facing head of an eagle. The weight of "ONE TROY OUNCE" is inscribed above it while the composition of ".999 FINE SILVER" is found at the bottom. The rim is quite thick.
Reverse: The central feature of the reverse is the common motif of trade unit scales. The upper inscription reads "ONE WORLD TRADE UNIT". Beneath the scales is the weight, content, and purity inscription of "ONE TROY OUNCE / SILVER / 999+ FINE". Interlocking sheaves of wheat decorate the area beneath the scales.
